Gawe provides an orientation on volunteerism to 28 Bayanihang Bayan Focal Persons and Heads of Regional DSWD Residential Care Facilities on Day 1 of the Training on the Core Principles of Mental Health and Psychosocial Support in Emergency Setting (Operationalizing the Principle of “Do No Harm”), led by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD)-Social Welfare Institutional Development Bureau (SWIDB), on July 6-7 at the Social Welfare and Development Center for Asia and the Pacific (SWADCAP) in Taguig City.

Undersecretary Joseline P. Niwane of the DSWD Standards and Capacity Building Group was also present to welcome the participants to the training.

The training will run for three more batches to be done online with volunteers as participants throughout July 2022.
