PNVSCA continues to strengthen its partnership with GIZ specifically with the Civil Peace Service (CPS) Coordination Team in  advocatingvolunteerism as a development strategy.  On 17 January 2023, PNVSCA and GIZ-CPS discussed possible areas for collaboration which include key activities such as building the capacity of leaders and partners on conflict sensitivity and peacebuilding, volunteer management, among others, that lead to the establishment of a volunteering infrastructure in the local government units and communities. Both also agree that strengthening youth volunteering, engaging professional volunteers, and tapping international volunteers to help intensify the advocacy for local volunteering  are initiatives with high potential that may be explored for further collaboration and synergy.
