Ms. FUJITA Akiko, Deputy Director and Ms. KAKIMOTO Kana, Program Officer of the Overseas Affairs Division 1 of the Secretariat of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) – Headquarters, accompanied by Mr. FUKUI Masakazu, Section Chief/Volunteer Section and  Ms. Lara Javier, Senior Program Officer of JICA Philippines paid a courtesy visit to PNVSCA on 14 November 2022.

The visit was an opportunity for the JICA Headquarter JOCV Secretariat  to have a better understanding and appreciation of JICA’s partnership with PNVSCA in the implementation of JOCV and PNVSCA’s work in the promotion and advocacy of local and international volunteering as a development strategy.  JICA extended its appreciation for the strong partnership built with PNVSCA throughout the years and presented its Volunteer Dispatch Plan in the Philippines for 2022-2023. They have also conveyed their intention to participate in the activities for the National Volunteer Month (NVM) Celebration in December.
