16 September 2019 PNVSCA issues Guidelines on the Registration of Volunteer Involving Organizations

To widen horizon for sharing and complementing information, experiences and resources in volunteering for development, the Philippine National Volunteer Service Coordinating Agency (PNVSCA) issued Office Circular XIII entitled "Guidelines on the Registration of Volunteer Involving Organizations (VIO)" published in the Official Gazette on 26 August 2019. The guidelines provides details on the registration process and requirements, monitoring and evaluation, among others. With the national VIO registration system, the role and contribution of volunteers in the private sector, particularly the academe, the corporate sector and not-for-profit organizations, to the overall framework of local and national development will be recognized. This guideline is accessible at pnvsca.gov.ph.

VIOs can now register with PNVSCA by visiting the Agency at the ground floor of Philippine Sugar Center Building, North Avenue, Diliman, Quezon City or through email at vioregistry@pnvsca.gov.ph while the online registration system is being developed.
