10 December 2019 PNVSCA Announces Winners of SOV Logo Contest

The habi and banig design which weaves the Philippine cultural identity with the Filipinos’ ever-burning passion for volunteerism emerged as the winning entry in the Search for Outstanding Volunteers (SOV) Logo Contest. " Interwoven by Volunteerism" is the work of Mr. Ryangilo O. Llauderes, a fine arts student from the University of the Philippines Diliman.

The entries of Mr. Jocel Quidet and Mr. Matthew David entitled “Sulaw” and "The Nation's Jewel", respectively, were the contest runners up. " We Move It " by Xedriche John M. Ramos which garnered 2,000 Facebook likes won the Audience Choice Award.

Mr. Llauderes will receive PhP 20,000, while Mr Quidet and Mr. David will each receive PhP 10,000 each.

The SOV is the yearly centerpiece event in celebration of the National Volunteer Month every December. The year-round Search aims to recognize the exemplary performance and dedication of Filipino volunteers across the nation in building strong communities and empowering lives.
