The Local Government of Quezon City conferred the 2nd Local Outstanding Volunteers Award (LOVA) on 3 December 2018 at the Quezon City Hall Main Building.

Quezon City Vice Mayor Ma. Josefina Belmonte, Councilor Ranulfo Ludovica, Mr. Noel Soliven and Mr. Esteban Eugenio Sangat of the Barangay and Community Relations Department and PNVSCA Executive Director Joselito De Vera awarded twenty organizations and two individuals this year. Soroptimist International of Quezon City, Grain Foundation for PWD, Inc., Samahang Kbabaihan Nagkakaisa Para sa Ikakaunlad ng Bayan, Inc., JCI Quezon City Diamante, Galing ng Bayan Foundation, Cubao Zion Fire and Rescue Volunteer Association, Inc., Philippine Relief and Development Services, Mr. Bryan James J. Lu, Rev. Daniel M. Martin, Quezon City Council of Sectoral Representatives, Philippine Association for Citizens with Developmental and Learning Disabilities, Inc., People Engaged in People Projects, Foundation, Inc., Resources for the Blind, Inc., House with No Step Foundation Phil. Inc., Kababaihan ng Barangay Pinagkaisahan, QC Performing Arts Development Foundation, Inc., Living New Ministries - Philippines, Inc., NORFIL Foundation, Inc., Botocan Blood Donors Club, 4Ks Task Force Solo Parents Association of QC, Sining Bahandi Youth Filmmaker, and People 360 Consulting Corporation were recognized for their active engagement in volunteerism.

The LOVA awarding is an event of the Local Government of Quezon City for this National Volunteer Month.
