The Philippine National Volunteer Service Coordinating Agency Employees Association (PEA) held the first Kapihan sa PEA with a talk on Financial Literacy last Friday, 4 May 2018 at the PNVSCA Conference Room. The concept of the kapihan is to gather members of the association to discuss among each other relevant topics and provide a venue for knowledge sharing. The activity was attended by 23 PEA members.

Financial advisors Ms. Juliet Ching and Ms. Arlynne Ang shared with PEA the gains of managing finances through saving or investing. The resource persons presented ways on how to save money and be financially secured in the future by discussing topics on financial planning pyramid, income continuity, saving tools and techniques, and investment.

PEA President Evica Vivas put emphasis on the importance of saving and investing to be able to live comfortably even after retirement and provide for personal needs or the needs of the family.

PEA will hold the kapihan activities for its members on a regular basis.
