Seeking to further strengthen commitment to its mandate and foster camaraderie among employees, PNVSCA conducted its Midyear Planning Workshop and Team Building Activity from 3 to 7 July 2017 in its office in Quezon City and at Doña Jovita Garden Resort in Laguna.

“We’re halfway through 2017 and this planning workshop served as a perfect opportunity to discuss our accomplishments, address challenges, and come up with solutions and recommendations to improve the implementation of our programs and services. The team building strengthened our bond as members of an Agency which contributes to the country-wide effort to achieve the goals set by Ambisyon 2040 and Philippine Development Plan 2017-2022,” said PNVSCA Executive Director Joselito C. De Vera.

The three-day activity’s highlights included the presentation of each division’s accomplishments and catch up plan and open forum. On the third day, employees engaged in various games which reiterated the significance of trust, cooperation, and collaboration. PNVSCA employees also visited the Dairy Training and Research Institute in the University of the Philippines Los Baños, one of the organizations which hosted Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers (JOCV) during the JOCV program’s early years.
