United States of America Ambassador to the Philippines, Sung Kim led the swearing-in ceremony for its six (6) United States Peace Corps Response Volunteers (USPCRVs) in coordination with the Philippine National Volunteer Service Coordinating Agency (PNVSCA) last 5 April 2017 at the United States Peace Corps office in Pasay City. The activity was the culmination of the Institutional Orientation of the USPCRVs as well as the Co-Management Meeting of the Local Partner Institutions (LPIs) with PNVSCA. The USPCRVs will be deployed for 8-10 months volunteering work in Regions CAR, IV-A, VI, VII and NCR. They will assist projects in Education, Environment and Natural Resources Management, and Industry and Services sectors.
